An elevated view across a coastal golf course, beach and open sea

02THE EXPERIENCE

Ten days find
their own rhythm.

Enough structure to begin together. Enough space for something unexpected.

A TYPICAL DAY

A rhythm, with room between.

An illustration of the rhythm, rather than a fixed timetable or a promise for arrival and departure days.

  1. A shared startBreakfast & departure
  2. MorningGolf together
  3. AfternoonExplore or rest
  4. EveningDinner together
  5. After dinnerAn hour of Banyan Lab
  6. Time betweenUnhurried company

Three afternoon rhythms.

Afternoons follow two broad rhythms: Rainforest Days and Ocean Days; members may choose to stay close instead. These panels illustrate day types, not a daily menu of every activity or an activity booking. No one goes out alone; every outing begins with at least one other member.

Activities depend on weather, safety, individual eligibility, providers and operational conditions. They may be modified, rescheduled or substituted; no individual activity is guaranteed.

Into the mountain landscape.

May include canyoning, waterfall rappelling, hiking, mountain biking, rafting or bouldering.

A different way to spend time together, with room to recover afterwards.

A DAY IN THREE RHYTHMS

MORNING

A game learnedside by side.

Every morning begins with golf instruction. All levels are welcome. Six fixed teams of three—each one China-based member and two international members—learn and practise together.

On the final day, the same six teams meet in a Team Scramble for the Jade Banyan Cup.

AFTERNOON

Out into Hainan.
Or stay close to home.

Afternoons follow two broad rhythms: Rainforest Days and Ocean Days. A quieter afternoon at Jade Island is an equally deliberate choice.

No one goes alone. Members choose how they would like to spend the afternoon, but every outing begins with finding at least one other member to go with. The morning team is fixed; afternoon companions need not be.

RAINFOREST

Into the mountain landscape.

Rainforest Days may include canyoning, waterfall rappelling, hiking, mountain biking, rafting and bouldering.

The pace can be physical without becoming a test. The landscape remains the larger presence.

OCEAN

Time shaped by water.

Ocean Days may include surfing, scuba diving and snorkelling.

Different conditions, confidence levels and eligibility can lead members to choose different ways of meeting the coast.

STAY CLOSE

Attention turned inward.

Members may remain at Jade Island for tennis, reading, conversation, time at the villas or simply rest.

Slowing down is part of the programme: time for recovery, conversation and being more present.

Individual activities are subject to weather, safety conditions, participant eligibility, provider availability and operational conditions, and may be modified, rescheduled or substituted. No specific optional afternoon activity is guaranteed for every member.

03EVENING

BANYAN LAB / ABOUT ONE HOUR AFTER DINNER

Ideas begin
around a table.

The same three people who practise golf together in the morning return to the table after dinner. Each team develops one realistic collaborative business idea.

Mentors help members challenge assumptions, understand who an idea is for, consider a workable model and test its basic economics where relevant—without taking the work over.

The final presentation is intentionally simple: a clear problem, a proposed solution, who it is for and how it might work. The point is not a polished pitch, but whether the idea is useful and feasible enough to carry home.

THE TIME BETWEEN

Not every meaningful moment
appears on a schedule.

Meals, walks, reading, rest and conversation give the ten days room to breathe.

THE EXPERIENCE

Ten days leave room
for more than a schedule.
